BEKASIMEDIA.COM – Cikarang, September 21, 2024 – The INTERACT 2024 event, organized by the President University Student Board (PUSB), was successfully held at Primebiz Hotel, Cikarang. With the theme “Public Speaking as a Catalyst for Future Career Growth,” the event aimed to strengthen participants’ public speaking and leadership skills to enhance their competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic workforce.
INTERACT 2024 attracted 140 participants, including President University students and external audiences, for a full-day training session. The event featured experienced speakers such as Sadam Permana and Ahmad Fauzan, who shared in-depth insights into the importance of effective communication in the era of globalization. Participants learned about managing nervousness, the ethics of public speaking, and techniques for leading oneself and others through effective communication.
The event also included group discussion sessions (Forum Group Discussions), allowing participants to discuss and present their findings from assigned case studies. A panel of judges evaluated and awarded the best groups and individuals based on their presentations and research outcomes.
“INTERACT 2024 successfully achieved its main objective by enhancing participants’ communication skills and providing an understanding of the significance of public speaking in their future careers,” said Kanaya Bunga Zahra, Project Manager of INTERACT 2024. Participants felt more confident in speaking publicly and gained valuable leadership insights relevant to the professional world. Sadam Permana and Ahmad Fauzan offered motivation and valuable tips on speaking effectively to influence and inspire others.
The event concluded with an awards session for the best participants and groups, followed by the official closing by the organizing committee. INTERACT 2024 provided participants with a valuable experience in improving communication skills and building broader professional networks.
